Scaffold for vite react project with tailwind

A template to start a frontend project with my current favorite stack.

Template

Create the vite project

npm create [email protected]

# project_name 
# framework: react
# variant: react-ts

npm install
npm run dev

Install tailwind

npm install -D tailwindcss postcss autoprefixer

npx tailwindcss init -p

Update tailwind.config.js

content: [
    "./index.html",
    "./src/**/*.{vue,js,ts,jsx,tsx}",
  ],

add ./src/index.css

@tailwind base;
@tailwind components;
@tailwind utilities;

Cleanup react scaffold

• remvoe image files
• Updare App.tsx and use tailwind with App.css

Install ESLint

npm install eslint --save-dev
npm init @eslint/config
